We have enhanced our 4G network in more than 640 places in Bulgaria in 2019 alone. For the last year 4G traffic has increased with 44%. As of August 2019, 4G data traffic is 84% from the total.
Telenor mobile network was awarded with certificate Best in test after analysis of 31.9 mln. samples in six categories.
The excellence is measured by umlaut, a leading international mobile network measurement company operating in over 120 countries worldwide.
The certificate is awarded to Telenor for reaching 888 out of 1000 points, the best overall rating by the three operators in Bulgaria. Telenor also scores highest on the best coverage for both data and voice services, as well as the best coverage for 4G and the best download speeds.

VoLTE is technology that we have launched together with 4G/LTE.
In short, with VoLTE you can talk through 4G, while continue browsing on the 4G network.
•Calls have better sound – VoLTE provides HD quality of the voice call, similar if you are talking face to face
•Connectivity is faster – with calls over 2G or 3G is possible the connectivity to take more time, while with VoLTE it is less
•Battery longer life – compared to other applications (ОТТ or VoIP) VoLTE uses less battery resources
ViLTE is an extension of VoLTE technology that enables video calling over a 4G network
•ViLTE allows high quality video call and the feeling is as you talk face to face
•ViLTE does not require additional registration or special application
•ViLTE provides full security of SIM based authentication
